A short lunchtime performance in The Model foyer to celebrate the current exhibition,"Enter The Clowns". Branching Out is a youth arts group in Sligo which aims to support young people in exploration of their own creativity. They have devised a short performance called âJohnnyâs Songâ in response to the Jack B.Yeats exhibition, Enter the Clowns â Circus as A Metaphor. |

This is the first solo exhibition by German artist Tilo Schulz in Ireland, the exhibition project itself is a response by Schulz to Sligo as an environment. The artist develops means to combine his sculptural project with concerns he has with todayâs migrations of people within Europe. As part of this project, a sculpture will be installed on the Garavouge river. Please ask staff for directions. |

Lebanese artist and theatre director Rabih Mroué has taken the art world by storm. His 2012 film, The Pixalated Revolution, powerfully represents the peopleâs resistance in present-day Syria through an analysis of mobile phone images and videos taken by Syrian civilians. Mroué was the recipient of the 2010 Spalding Gray Award and the 2011 Prince Claus Award âfor his radical interrogation of memory, power, and the construction of truthâ. |
