For the month of June artist Mitch Robertson is participating in SAAG’s Intersection Residency program at the Gushul Studio in the Crowsnest Pass. Robertson is a conceptually based artist using photography, sculpture, the internet, installations and drawing to create work that considers the interwined paths of religion and superstition with globalization and consumerism. His exhibition As the story goes will be on display at SAAG from June 27 to September 8, 2013.
Join us this Sunday, June 23 as we visit Mitch at the Gushul Studio. Hear about his ongoing practice and his experiences exploring Frank Slide and the Lost Lemon Mine area. This tour is free and open to everyone, but registration is required!
Registration Deadline: Friday, June 21 | To register call 403-327-8770 ext. 21. **This tour MAY get cancelled due to inclement weather and flooding in the Crowsnest Pass area. If the tour is cancelled we will contact registrants by 5PM on Saturday, June 22.
