Felix Velez - My art work is a combination of life, striving to create what influences me by everything I see, feel and experience. I focus on the environment and human nature. I like to bring history into our time by recreating life-like sculptures from famous personalities like Einstein. While I use a variety of materials and processes in each project, my methods are consistent. When working with clay or any medium, it is important to acknowledge the meaning of the sculpture. The topic matter of each body of work determines the materials I need to incorporate in the making of the sculpture, like clay, wood or metal. The experience is very rewarding when molding with my hands and capturing that moment in time. Sculpting is my way of being creative without limits. I continuously look for ways to discover new possibilities to challenge my imagination. Each piece of art, whether figurative or abstract, is an original and innovative design. It is delivered with excellence, performance and integrity....

Dmitrii Volkov - In my work I focus on combinations of volumes, patterns, colors or all together. They should interact, agree or disagree with each other. Listening to this conversation and forming this relationship are the most exciting things in art. Volumes often interact within a piece of art through crossing facets or absence of facets, polished planes and projecting parts as well as escape to the deep dark cavities and hollows. At times an object can be seen as a human, partially imperfect but constantly striving for perfection. I always treat objects and parts of objects as humans or groups of humans being unique individuals. My favorite material is carbon steel. It proves amazingly deep in case of natural treatment, i.e. waxing, polishing, and patination. It is oxidation ability that makes carbon steel far richer than precious metal in terms of its expressive properties. Traditionally, it is considered to be a disadvantage, yet indeed is a benefit due to the fact that kind of makes up for what the painter did not paint thus making a piece of art beautiful and expressive. Rasheed Amodu - RASHEED AMODU Artist Statement I started as a professional artist in 1985, before adding a Fine Arts degree, specializing in Painting, in 1991. One of my major aims is to wed creativity and artistic rendering in my artwork leading to diverse range of themes in my oeuvre. My graphic art background in Realism and my degree aided abstractions as well as impressionistic and expressionistic tendencies are often reflected in my artwork, which include my drawings, paintings, mixed media, and assemblages. I draw with pencil, charcoal, penink, and gouache on paper or embossed cards. My oil or acrylic paintings are usually on canvas. I do mixed media on paper, embossed card, and canvas. My assemblages are works produced with commonplace objects or personal items arranged and fixed on hardboard before being painted with oil or acrylic for aesthetic finesse. Some of the objects employed in my assemblages are beads, fabrics, combs, watches, straps, chains, cards, belts, spoons, forks, pens, ropes, lighters, shaving sticks, plugs, and bottle covers. Yue Zeng - Yue Zeng is a Chinese-American self-taught artist, mother, and wife, who has been living in the United States since 2008 and currently resides in Woodbury, Minnesota. ZengaEURtms artistic practice focuses on oil painting, with her subjects mainly being mythical creatures and animals. With a style between impressionism and fantasy, she explores the vividness of their spirit in saturated colors and organic forms. ZengaEURtms interest in the arts started in elementary school, sparking her desire to create later in life. In her twenties she obtained her Masters in Science from SUNY-ESF in Syracuse, New York. In 2017 due to physical complications, Zeng had to leave the chemistry industry. Transformed by the experience, she decided to revisit her art practice and make it her career regardless of the obstacles she would face. Since then, Zeng has flourished in her artistic expression, finding her true passion in oil painting. Although Zeng explores other painting mediums such as gouache, pastel, and digital, oil and canvas feels the most natural.
