Jo Allebach - JO ANN ALLEBACH ARTIST STATEMENT Jo Allebach Bio As an artist, I strive to create art that is a unique expression of who I am, and what I know and love. My art is my passion. The challenging aspect of painting is taking a familiar scene and creating my own personal vision of it. I have a sense of awe in everything around me, finding it absolutely enchanting and seek to show it in my work. I feel nature is our greatest teacher I consider my paintings to be celebrations on canvas. I hope my art will resonate in the observers' memory so that the process of recollection becomes a dialogue with the image. They are a tribute to the beautiful world in which we live. Through my unique works of art, I bring joy to the homes and lives of collectors all over the country. I create art to bring home the memories of what I saw. Steven Fleit - I am a self taught artist. I have been painting for over twenty years and approximately four years ago I declared myself an Artist in the professional sense. Prior to my declaration as an artist, I built a portfolio of thematic collections. I started with Caribbean tropical paintings. Chris Jehn - I am primarily a self taught artist and have always felt creative. I worked my way through college by teaching crafts at an arts and crafts store, everything from embroidery and macrame to tole painting and pottery. I have taken numerous workshops from other practicing artists. Being with a group of other artists creates a synergy that inspires me. I now primarily work with acrylics and collage. I especially love intense color, and have made a study of color composition. Einav Zilber - As an art lover, I want to see art not only in the museum or gallery but rather see art in my daily surroundings of where I live. Be it the hair dresser, a book shop, a cafe or the local launderette. Durre Waseem - Durre Waseem of Corona, a native of Pakistan, has a Master of Fine Arts degree from Punjab University and taught for 10 years at various colleges in Pakistan.
