Artists Describing Their Art:

Alexander Shandor - Alexander Shandor is an Ukrainian artist, who was born in 1981. He is presently residing there. Master graduated from the Erdeli college, specializing in the metals processing. Alex is working with an oil on canvas or with a water paint on paper, Most of his paintings are drawn from the nature, in the open air, in the genres of landscapes and still life. All his works are unique and unrepeatable even by himself. Alexander is in love with his work. He puts his heart and soul in his creations. Master believes that each piece of art always carries positive energy, which is getting transferred to the future owners. His ability to insert this energy in every painting, his commendable skills and a tremendous talent made his art desirable and appreciated among his fans and collectors. Alexander is an active participant in the multiple exhibitions in the Ukraine and abroad. His paintings are found in the galleries and in the private collections around the world. Message from Alex Only the highest quality oil paints and materials are used in my works. Catriona Brough - Painting is my way of expressing anything that gives me pleasure visually Nature, the ever changing seasons and the colourful landscape around, give such an abundance of subjects , providing a constant source for paint inspiration and getting these images aEURoedownaEUR on paper...

Cindy Pinnock - Artist Statement My heart goes into all that I do whether it be from cooking gourmet dishes, to 3 dimensional art works that adorn my home or to my warm embracing landscaping that surrounds my house for guests. My passion for expressing my emotions onto a blank canvas started shortly after high school and was fine-tuned with college and private classes. However, I must admit that truly being a part of nature and experiencing the great outdoors in our beautiful state have greatly deepened my passion for wildlife and nature in my work. As my tastes matured, I ventured into many different mediums such concrete, mosaic, and pencil just to name a few. Most recently, oil painting has consumed my passion for the brilliance of color and the ability of combining different techniques of brush and abstract impressionistic strokes by hand. The way I look at ordinary objects in our daily lives and make them more unique sets me apart from other artists. I donaEURtmt keep my work to simply a canvas but to the world around me, I live my creativity and have no limitations. I would welcome the opportunity to have you view my creations please ...

Steve Meyerholz - I should have never became an artist. For years my attempts at writing graffiti were ridiculed my work laughed at and dismissed as garbage. I have been fascinated with art since I first saw graffiti. I never gave up and practiced daily until a style emerged. Graffiti has opened my mind to other art forms. I currently paint canvasses and murals and draw portraits with various media. I have also been a tattooist for 2 decades. I get my inspiration from the way Im feeling at that particular moment. I try to incorporate things I see or experience on a regular basis whenever possible while Im producing a piece of art. I will never stop creating and always try learning new techniques. I was determined to be an artist and it has led me here. Lets see what the future holds. I am always interested in collaborating with other artists to see what kind of creative chemistry can be discovered. ...

Cornelis Sproet - It was his dream to become a deck officer in the Netherlands merchant navy but because of family issues he had to stop his seamans career after two and a half year. He then studied at the Graphical Arts School in Amsterdam and became an industrial photographer. During that time he lived and worked two years in Paris, 21 years in Italy. After many years as an accomplished photographer he decided to become a professional truck driver. After 15 years on the European roads he retired and together with his wife moved to the Philippines, her birth country. During the years as a photographer he has built a large collection of photographs which he now uses as one source for his drawings. He is a great admirer of Pieter Breughel and when in the mood he makes drawings depicting the 1600s. ...

Robert Betsworth - I have been an artist all of my life, have worked with metal for many years, and have finally put the two elements together to create my metal artwork. I come from a very artistic family and learned to weld and work with metal early on. l plan to create more pieces, so stay tuned If you are interested in commissioning a piece for you, I am open to discussion....

B A Autery - I truly hope that I can inspire you with my creations, my images, and photos and maybe, give you a different thought perspective each time you view my paintings or photos as I had intended just for you in much of my work. Being a self-taught artist through experience, reading, researching artists past, present and me just doing the work. I believe when one myself and others creates a beginning and achieves total satisfaction all the way, on paper, on canvas or on any other type of substance, to me its all art regardless of the process. Art, which I learned in its final stage is a creation that no other person can see or visualize exactly than from its master. Thank You for visiting this part of my world. I hope my paintings and photographs will inspire you as they have to me in creating and captioning them. ...
