John Tooma - This site is only a guide to my artworks, you will appreciate them alot more when they are seen in real life. These prices are set in US currency, hope you could be aware of this. As a Painter and Graphic DesignerIllustrator, art is huge part of my life. Its a great feeling to have the ability to draw and paint what my eye can see. As an observer, I love to sketch in my A5 pads and photograph most subject matter transferring the visual information onto paper, canvas, clay or the computer. I use digital photographic equipment only as a support for my work. I draw and paint virtually everything but my passion lies with the human body. I use dry and wet medium such as graphite pencil, chalk pastel, charcoal, ink, gouache and oil paints. I enjoy experimenting with my subject. I also use the apple computer for retouching and airbrushing technique. You can order Prints from any of these Paintings or Drawings and this would be printed on either Paper or Canvas depending on your preference. It is an absolute pleasure to share my passion with you and to speak about it through art. I enjoy sketching ...
Alan Hogan - Alan Hogan's view of Art is that it is something that should be enjoyed by all types of people, whether young, old, modern or old-fashioned. He says it is difficult to keep painting the same subjects, variety is very important to him. Unlike so many artists of the past and present, he wants to explore and discover more of what different people from different backgrounds view as good art. Of course Alan has a lot of admiration for many of todays artists as well as the great artists of the past. Alan aims to develop a good relationship with people, whatever their background, by bringing to them a style of art that not only the artist but also the people can enjoy and understand. Alan also says that the styles of painting he uses may change now and then, simply because society and people change. Apart from an inspiring train journey around Europe many years ago and all the wonderful things Mother Nature has to offer, Alan says that much of the inspiration he gets for his paintings nowadays comes from two sources. Firstly, it is good to keep up-to-date on what people want style-wise ...
Deborah Wilson - ARTIST STATEMENT - DEBORAH WILSON Ii?1/2m a native of Missouri, but, my husband and I have taken many opportunities to experience other areas of the US and our neighboring countries. So, my artwork is influenced by all of those cultures and environments which we have spent time in. This includes cross-country camping and hiking trips, which dip into Canada or Mexico, along with various missions trips, working vacations and temporary residences. We have gone on working vacations for extended time periods in USVI (St. John) and Yellowstone National Park. And, my husband and I were dual residents of Missouri and Hawaii for about 5 or 6 years. So, as you can imagine, there is great diversity of subject matter and I need several more lifetimes to paint everything that is wanting to be painted! Some paintings have been done in our camper, some in a makeshift studio in the closet, on the floor or on the dining room table. Here in Missouri, I have a studio separate from our house on our land, just outside of Springfield. Who we are and whatever is in our hearts tends to come out in our artwork. So, you will find a lot ...

Pat Heydlauff - I discovered my love for painting in 1993 as I was transitioning out of a stress filled career and exploring my creative side. As a colorist, I painted lively, vibrant mainstream artwork consisting of landscapes, florals and still-lifes. Through painting I noticed my life was becoming balanced, and filled with harmony instead of stress. Painting allowed me to discover my spiritual nature and peace within and lead me to paint in a stream of consciousness flowing with energy. This flow of consciousness energy is visible in my recent "art with a message" canvas work where you can always find hope, peace and joy in the subject matter and every brush stroke. Painting is the physical manifestation of my spiritual being. It is the flow of energy through paint onto a two dimensional canvas projecting three dimensional energy. I endeavor to convey a vital energy through sight with color and design. My inspirational and mainstream artwork can be placed in areas of the home and office to create an environment with balance, harmony and a flow of energy which enriches the viewer. I believe that in our world today with cement cities, sound pollution and isolated environments, it is difficult ...

Clinton Lown - " Should you ask me, whence these stories? Whence these legends and traditions, With the odors of the forest, With the dew and damp of meadows, With the curling smoke of wigwams, With the rushing of great rivers, With their frequent repetitions, And their wild reverberations, As of thunder in the mountains? I should answer, I should tell you," Damn the Damp and where the hells Dave Cramp? Last time I saw him was when we was pulled over on Bathhurt by the Bronze dogs....
Kees Van Eyck - My works of art express a metarealistic perception of our world, traditional in the history of Dutch painting. However, the source of my inspiration can also be found in European surrealism as well in American hyper-, and photo realism. In my collection Portraits of Icons of the post-war period of the 20th century I introduced the iconography of our era. These images of celebrities characterise movie-stars, media personalities plus inspirational individuals from the field of music, art, politics and philosophy. With these portraits I pay tribute to famous people with extraordinary gifts and talents, who influenced the development of mankind and left their mark on various fields during the 20th century. My perception of life on Earth is often depicted in a surrealistic manner. My attitude towards our environment is charged with criticism as well as hope for a better future. My paintings aspire to evoke the sense of beauty and to raise awareness of burning issues in todays world....
Cecile Tissot - Statement in English and French/ Presentation en anglais et francais * * * * * * * * * * * * Born in 1970, currently lives and works in Paris and Boulogne-Billancourt. I have been sculpting for about 15 years, after I discovered carving in London in 1997. I have been since then following a personal way in sculpture, mostly in stone and wood carving. I also work directly in nature through landart projects. Most of my works deal with the sacred, emptiness, traces, and link presence and absence - I attempt to emphasise the shy, the almost-nothing, the sensitive. My latest works tend towards verticality and nomadism, in an attempt to create, through their installation, ephemerical holy places - small or big.
Matei Enric - My art is a combination between easel and wall painting. More pieces which are assembled together, creating a full image, a piece of work. Space, as usual, circumscribes the work, the wall ( the vital space around the picture ) is inserted in the piece of work, becoming in this way an element ( having plastic valences) of the composition. The piece of work, in whose substance is also integrated the wall where it is placed, remindes of the wall painting , having a better comunication with the environment unbeing isolated from it by a frame or a closed shape ( square, rectangle etc). The base of my painting consists of the plastic rhythm ( the whole composition relying on the arrangement of similar elements) and the use of different ways of the elements materialization ( brush-up ) ....
