Susan Baquie - Richard Wynne - Richard is an acclaimed International Artist recently returned to the USA. Richard has lived in many Countries. "The last being Thailland. He started his art studies at a very young age at the John Herron Art Institute In Indianapolis, Indiana and then later at the Art Institute of Chicago Richard has lived in many countries, painting, and playing music. Mr Wynne has exhibited in Thailand, the United States, Spain, Argentina, Kuwait, Korea, Ihdia, and other Countries. Sometimes perhaps I say too much about my self but maybe it helps people understand what motivates my work. For your information I've lived in 8 different countries and have been around the world 5 times. I speak a few different languages, some very well; others not so well. By the way I am not a workaholic as I don't consider what I do work. I enjoy life too much. I forgot to say I am also a weight lifter as lifting weights is my Zen. Hisham Zreiq - My art is a private perspective on life, private pains and disappointments, society, Death and a philosophical look at life. Death is the source for creation and the motor of life. Crucifixion a symbol for pain, pain caused by social, political and religious systems. I think that art is another way to communicate, to express my ideas , for me art should have a message of a sort. This is the way I saw art when I was a little boy trying to express his Ideas with simple drawings, and this is the way I see art when working on my digital art or writing poetry today. Some times I ask myself, if we can reach people through "reason"! but I think its better to get to people's hearts through emotions, through ART, and from there we might get to their reason. Enzo Amato - Documentary in style, with an interest that stems from his chronicling of the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, the work of Italian photographer Enzo Amato captures his understanding of the correlation between the spontaneity and energy of a fleeting moment between subjects and events. Geo Sipp - Geo Sipp Artist Statement: The primary emphasis of my images is to reflect our experiences as consumers of the media in the aftermath of September Eleventh. As we go about our lives the media constantly reminds us of our exposure and vulnerability. The visual perception that is promoted is of our being continuous observers of the human condition. A sense of being under threat heightens our awareness and is implicit in our roles as parents, friends and guardians. The media trivializes threats by distilling them into short, dramatic events. Meaning and emotion become codified. I create images as responses to social and political situations, but no attempt is made to editorialize the content. The work is intended to reevaluate the visual narrative to which we've become conditioned. A variety of media is used to create my work. The decision to create a drawing or a painting or a print is primarily intuitive. Yet, because they are multiples, prints reference the mass marketing of published imagery in a news cycle. James Mayor - For years of my life I was used as a tool of destruction. As I drifted farther and farther from decency I found myself closer and closer to death. At the pinnacle of my transformation I found myself balancing on a blades edge. One side was darkness and the other is who I am today. It was at this junction of life and death I sat on my brother in armsaEURtm lifeless corpse, while enemies fell around me by the dozens. In the midst of the bloodshed I took a second to gather my thoughts and settle my trembling hands. The event that transpired, which caused life to course through my veins again, was one where I tasted death where I felt more alive than I ever have or ever will again. It was the moment where I noticed flying above me, a beautiful pair of butterflies, dancing without a care in the world, unaffected by the screams of dying men. It was in this brief moment of tranquility when I realized that I needed to break away from this destructive niche I have embodied and give value to life.
