Artwork Description:

'Amelia Sea Turtle' is handbuilt and sculpted stoneware which was high fired to over 2350 degrees in a reduction atmosphere. It was created after I came upon a sea turtle while snorkeling a reef off of a remote beach in Hawaii. It was one of several pieces completed for a special exhibit at the Goodyear Cottage Art Center on Jekyll Island that coincided with the opening of the new Georgia Sea Turtle Center also on Jekyll Island. The one pictured is in a privsate collection. I have taken orders for additional (similar) turtle sculptures. As they are indivdually sculpted, they are each unique. Please allow 5-6 weeks from time of order.
