CorkStop Studios hosts a private patron dinner buffet on the eve of this year's SLO OPEN STUDIOS TOUR 2007. The event was intimate, non stuffy, and the food delicious! Thank you to all who helped make this evening shine. Also, special appreciation to SF art advisor, Trudy Montgomery for her impromptu mini presentation on 'The Art of Collecting' and to east coast abstract artist, Christo Braun for his professionalism and talent. ... CorkStop Studios is a new artists' studio in San Luis Obispo County, in a huge red barn on California's beautiful central coast half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco. It is home to three contemporary artists: Carol Paquet, Anne Stahl, and Xenia Madison, who all work within the abstracted landscape genre and are schooled, exhibited, and collected internationally.
