| OUR FEATHERED FRIENDS 2007 OPENING:

My fourth solo exhibition (3rd at this venue) will open at the Goulburn Club, 19 Market St, Goulburn at 5pm on Friday 16th November, and will run until 22nd December. There will be 33 paintings of birds in oils, acrylics and watercolours. There are both framed and stretched canvas paintings and they range in size from miniatures up to 122cm x 9ocms. | GOULBURN TRADITIONAL ART COMPETITION 2007:

I won First Prize in the oils section of this competition with my painting of the "Whippet". Each year this event is attracting more and higher quality entries. This year there were some 240 entries from the local and surrounding regions, Canberra and Sydney. It was judged by Cherry Hood, winner of the Archibald Prize in 2002.

| Shed Nudes #3 2007:

What a great event this was at the Artists' Shed in Queanbeyan. There were, of course, many nude paintings and some fascinating sculptures. I'm pictured with my 'Nude Reading II'. To welcome the artists and guests were a couple who were body painted - most appropriate for this exhibition. Congratulations to Mal, Margaret and Dennis for organising such a wonderful event.... ... The Leider Theatre actors were presenting Picasso's Play, 'Four Little Girls' and had asked for artists to exhibit paintings based on the theme of the play. This was my third solo exhibition. It was held in 2006 at Juanita's Studio Gallery at Austnmer, NSW. | Goulburn Regional Art Competition 2004:

This work was quite different for me. I studied the ages of life from baby through to old age. Each of the pieces radiating around the work represented a particular stage of life.There was no beginning or end as life goes on perpetually from one generation to the next.
