in Western Australia. Rod
spent his first 30 years in an
arid and remote gold mining
town. As a youngster he
remembers the great freedom he
enjoyed surrounded by the
stark but vivid images of the
mines and surrounding bush,

I held a watercolour portrait workshop for the Albany Art Group in Albany which is on the south coast of Western Australia a really beautiful part of the world. The workshop which was held over the weekend was attended by about 20 artists working from a live model and photos.
