seeing for the first time:
My abstract expressions are about line and colour and how this relates to a situation arising in the present moment. The work begins from an overall feeling about a situational experience. abstract:
There seems to be a point at which the mind looses a grip on knowledge. This shows up as colour and objects that dont really look like any specific object...theres just this kinda feeling about some shapes all together. And this most probably is where abstraction gets recognised. Direct experience of Being, unadulterated by conceptual thinking. ... (view this exhibition)

Scicilian wall masks:
A face appearing from the leaves from the Ash tree in the area of Cefalu(Sicily), gives birth to a greenman. Buddha Heads:
Inspiration from the ancient ceramic Chinese Xun vessel flute, gave birth to a collection of vessel flutes fashioned on the basic egg shape of the Xun. This shape reminded me of a buddha’s head. The awesome deep tone that can be played, is restful and meditative. The ‘whistle’ has been placed in a position that would mark the third eye, symbolic of attention turned inward. There are six tuning holes. Two holes in each ... (view this exhibition)
the assumption of perspective:
The Assumption of Perspective
The identification “I am a body” at the centre of my life, limits man to a 180 degree view of the world with the other 180 degrees based on the assumption that there is ‘another’ side. One is taught, in perspective drawing, that a view begins with you, the body, and goes to a vanishing point in the distance. This is all purely conceptual and useful as a tool for drawing ... (view this exhibition)
Ponderings along a Pathless Path:
Life is often referred to as ‘the Path’, but who is really on a path if there is nothing for attention to hold onto?
This exhibition is about a looking into the action of attention. It can be seen that attention is already present, because one is already seeing what is appearing, but can get caught up in trying to hold onto a reference point...a base from which to say “this is it...I’... (view this exhibition)
