Artwork Description:

The artwork was inspired by the Lapita culture. A people experts claim to be the ancestors of mordern Polynesians (South Pacific). The artwork appears fragmented to represent broken lapita pottery. The motif on the tapa cloth is partly inspired by the traditional manulua design, which is a schematic representation of a flower, however, this particular design is unique as it is my family emblem.
