Sandy Feder - I have always been creative. My mother and grandfather were creative and I seem to have inherited those talents from them. Color fascinates me and colored glass is the best color anywhere. I took my first glass classes in college and have been making glass ever since then. A good day in my life includes being creative in some way. I love it when I spend time with my creative friends and we talk about our interests and pursuits in glass or other media. The first glass items I made were for myself and my family. Soon, I began making glass art to give to my friends. You knew that you were a good friend if you had many pieces of my art glass. Friends doing shows, introduced me to selling my art glass and making enough to sell. So, I now make enough for friends, family and to sell. I often find myself taking a break from the task at hand, by going out and creating something with glass in the middle of another project. My outlook on life improves the more I create with glass.
