I have been an artist for 20-plus years. Being basically self taught, my style changes as I seek out my real self. Right now, I am doing mostly abstract expressionism with acrylics on gallery wrap canvas (a thick canvas that you paint around the sides and it becomes the frame.) Also some minimalism. I love photography and when I have the opportunity, I take photographs of our natural world. I have a few of them with my paintings on this website.
I was deeply involved in environmental causes for many years and have found that being an artist is much more fulfilling. I can get my point of view across without offending absolutely everyone. Of course, art is not art unless it offends someone! Right now I am committed to painting marine animals affected by the BP explosion in the Gulf of Mexico in April of 2010.
I will make giclee prints of any of my paintings for $500 and up, depending on the size you desire. Email me if interested. issyco@cox.net
I also do commissions....
