Angel Piangelo - ANGEL PIANGELO is my Artistic Name and I sign ALL my Artworks as ANGEL P. my ID Name is Angel Papangelou JOB PROFESSION Fine Arts PROFESSOR in a Private College and a Public School of Art in Thessaloniki Greece, where I work and live most of the time of the year, although my main residence is in Germany Mauerkircherstrasse 68A, 81925, Munich -- I also give Painting Sculpture PRIVATE LESSONS to students who want to enter Fine Arts Universities. Prabha Shah - There's a central theme underlining my work: India, or more specifically Rajasthan, in colours. Cities, streets, people, desert depictions fading rapidly, everything I love and miss. Emotional tension finds an outlet in the process of creation. People and historical events live inside me as shapes and colours. Colour is central to my painting. Life is the epitome of the universe. Through painting I try to stay close to those things I like but can't own. Things which often hurt us but we insist on desiring and loving in a unique way. The mysterious repetition of nothingness that torments us all. --Prabha Shah...

Anne Schwartz - My newest collections, entitled Zoom and A Journey Through Infinity, reflect my artistic exploration of the infinite cosmic history. I am known for pushing my palette of vibrant, and often translucent, colors to the limit, drawing out the vivid hues of nature. My paintings draw upon the earth's energy in a dangerous and imaginative drama. The paintings launch the viewer from under the earth's surface into the solar system and beyond. I explore my own consciousness to create a kind of landscape of energy and emotions. One color plays on the last, changing and twisting to form the contrasts of light and dark. Bright colors burst forth against the dark background, sending the viewer into a dazzling world of exploding stars, swirling gas planets, and our own earth. My collection A Journey to Infinity is oil on canvas. My collection Zoom is mixed media on canvas and paper. I am located in Pacific Palisades, California, and work in oil, collage and other forms of mixed media. Artist Bio Anne Brawer Schwartz has exhibited her mixed media paintings in numerous group shows throughout Los Angeles County. In 2010, her work was published in the coffee table book "Santa Monica," ...

Jose Acosta - Artist Statement I create paintings, sculptures, and constructions. Bright colors, swirling figures, and vibrant energy characterize my paintings. Generally, my paintings depict my personal history and my surroundings. I paint from my heart, and express a little hope and happiness in all of my creations. I paint the struggles of my fellow humans to strive for their dreams, the things that some of us take so lightly yet so many in this world do not have. I am a romantic at heart and envision a future world where we will all live in peace, harmony, and abundance. ...

Phillip Flockhart - STATEMENT After 50 years of image making, journeying through the Da Da, Constructivist, and Minimalist Schools 1970s-1980s I find that my work and my beliefs put me firmly in The School of Expressionism, although my continued belief in the work of Carl Jung, especially his Catalytic Exteriorisation Phenomenon adds another layer of understanding to the traditional Expressionists and places it somewhere more in the Spiritual. My art philosophy formulated over many years practice is actually always present in the content of my work, although themes come and go and reflect other areas of my life and which are influenced by the work of great artists like Kazimir Malevich, Vladimir Tatlin, Juan Gris, Kurt Switters , Marc Chagall, Robert Motherwell, Robert Rauschenberg, Andy Warhol and Joseph Beuys the themes of my art, if examined retain the content of my work which has remained as it has for 35 years now the attempt to disseminate the picture plane to see through and beyond, with colour, real time space, Collage Relief, imagery or optical device, multi point perspective and opto-kinetism, to reveal the truth that lays beyond .... I believe that this is what Marc Rothko meant when he said that his paintings ...

Zinovy Shersher - When I emigrated to the US, I was not allowed to take my paintings with me - by the Soviet government. They said to me you are professional artist, you studied inRussian University, so everything youve created belongs to Russian people. So when inNew York I could not show anything Ive created to the American galleries. But aftervesting many of them in NY, I was amazed by the variety of different schools and styles of art in Dmerica, it was a firework of colors, manners, techniques, I realized that I had to find my own style, own motives in my art, I was glad that Ileft everything I created before behind. It took me 3 full years to create a new group of work, 6 years to find my own style,- modern, contemporary with great school and techniques I got from Russian school and a course in School of Visual Arts in NY. I started to create paintings and realized that I have basically 2 themes in my paintings Music and Love. SInce I am a musician and composer myself, I studied violin in childhood, I realized that the violin touches the most sensitive nerves and feelings in the human body, ...

Dario Raffaele Orioli - A painting, statue or other work of art speaks best for itself, without superfluous words, but to say a few words about my opinion about art. Art allows us to live, differently at different periods stages of life. Different already in character, temperament of each individual. Through art I seek man Of course, many painters run away from looking for a man because it is a painstaking job, so it is easier for them to end up in abstractions, concepts, etc. under the pretext that it is modern. Abstraction is a trip to the unknown, but after many years of such a trip to the unknown, one gets tired and realizes that he needs the peace and stability he can find in the knowledge of the world around him, which is right outside of him and if he knows how to look, he can think through it enjoy it here and now There is a saying that every living being is a snapshot of nature towards man, this can be applied to art ....Any abstraction is an artists shot at figuration.... Of course it can be the other way around, but what a world this would be if it were ...

Alexander Sadoyan - My paintings are inspired from the human life in conjunction with landscape of nature's abstract color-forms.With association of color and shapes,I strive to communicate my feelings and convey inner-personal emotions.Memories, experiences are the essence of my esthetical awareness which find visual language of there own inseparable from the future and exists into absolution....

Chris Gould - Never the studious young boy, I spent most of my class time drawing sketches in the pages of my notebooks. Santa Anna, raising his sword in the battle for the Alamo buried deep within my notebook jumped out and attacked my father one evening while he help me with my homework. He counter attacked by hurling, "you will never be anything doing stuff like this", and I believed him. In school I loved art class, excelled and looked forward to it but never believed that I could be something there. When I went to college I focused on art and graduated near the top of my class with a BFA, and still believed that I would never be anything. After all, all I needed was a degree. With diploma in hand I entered the professional world with the ambition to climb the corporate ladder. Climb and climb to be something. Reaching to be something, I fall on art as therapy for the stress and anxiety that being something brings. Now I am something and nothing at the same time because I don't believe any more. And now I want to be something else. It is here in this ambition ...
