Artwork Description:

Art speaks when words are not enough! Dust to Dust was an early learning process in which I used industrial products, along with artist materials. I created varying levels on select surfaces to give the image a 3-dimensional quality, keeping the flesh flat and mono-toned. I chose a vibrant red to symbolize blood using the graphite tones, concrete , garnet stone and liquid polymer to add a raw texture , maintaining a feeling of isolationism in the image. AIDS-HIV is a serious issue. I hope this work reflects that...
