Artwork Description:

Patterns, colors and shapes. I like all three in this painting. The fish shapes? I don't know, I found them when I was exploring the image in my preliminary work. They were key to my interest in the image. Sometimes, they just happened when balancing the image. Anyhow, I decided to use a word with two meanings for the title. It was the angles that drew me to the image, and the angling captured the fish! The painting is crude and elegant. Does that make sense?�
