Artwork Description:

Original oil painting celebrating the Hindu festival of Navratri. These nine days of festivities celebrate the various forms of the goddesses. This art is my interpretation of the goddess. Shes at the center of the art as Sita in a scene from the Ramayana. Shes seen as Laxmi- the giver and goddess of wealth, as Saraswati- the creative one, as Yashoda- the nurturer with her bal Gopal, and as Kali- the destroyer of evil.
