Artist Statement:
I am an illustrator and artist
that distinguishes himself
from the masses. My ability to
voice opinions and convey
messages through my art has
allowed me the opportunity to
develop a truly unique style
and vision. It is difficult
to separate ones character
from ones work. The people
and causes I feel passionate
about are depicted in much of
my work with the same strength
and emotion that they instill
in me. I believe that along
with my talent, it is this
passion that has garnered a
great deal of attention around
my recent work.
After graduating from
Sheridan College this past
spring (after a nine year
hiatus) I was presented with
the Faculty Award of 2002
which recognized outstanding
achievements within the
renowned
program. As my career
continues to progress I have
also managed to impress
several magazine publications
with my
original style. The respect
of the art community, faculty,
art directors and advertising
executives has provided me
with
confidence and assurances that
my work has mass appeal and
definite validity.
My experience as an
autoworker for the past nine
years at the Ford Oakville
Truck Plant has served as
enlightenment and inspiration
for the "Ford Series". This
