Bernhard Luettmer - The project is to create the image with a short composition as I wanted at times I took in here. Timing and movements of the camera or the machinery are important resources. Photography is listen to the world as we hear a beloved piece of music. For example: I see a tree just in vegetation, the wind gentle caresses the new leaves, the light shines and you hear all this on the skin. Now take a picture with the knowledge that this concentration and on the negative is something of the feeling....
Sandra Maarhuis - For more information about Sandra Maarhuis and to see a online show of all her artworks visit the website: www.sandra-maarhuis.exto.org Info Paintings and Photocollages: Sandra Maarhuis was born in 1972, in Rotterdam. In 2001 she graduated from the Art Academy of Kampen. It was there that she mastered her painting skills. After graduating, the Dutch Art Institute offered her a place in their Master of Fine Arts course. During this two year course she was taught by Peter Struyken and Emo Verkerk, and she obtained her Master's Degree in 2003. Apart from commissioned works and the sale of her work, her main ambition is to further develop her free artwork. A recurring theme in her visual art is the beauty that is concealed in everyday life. In awe of detail, situation or people. And this admiration is the start of each of her paintings. By painting in a figurative-bordering on realistic-way, she is able to portray the subject as recognizable as possible. The final goal is to let the painting exceed the picture. To be captivated first before realising it's a "picture in a frame". Sandra has a new working space ( atelier) ...
John Griebsch - John Griebsch photographs American and European landscapes, mostly from his vintage 1952 Cessna. The images depict the pattern, color and design of natural and man-made landforms. "Each image reflects a view of the way a detail of the earth's becomes a universe unto itself. My aerial photographs present a sense of selective design applied to an extremely small but significant area of the vast landscape over which I fly. I find the need to make geographical sense of the earth, as well as the need to make visual sense of a photograph. My work involves ambiguity of scale and the strong graphic quality of nature, and of the hand of man on nature."...
