I had my summer rains... thunderstorms... winds... and heat.. Unusual the heat... as hot as in Southern California.. Felt so welcomed by family members and their friends.. now many.. also my friends.. Most involved in some kind of artform.. from the author to the painter.. Alex, Trudi's son.. I admired his truly great drawings.. and paintings.. Then I met Karl.. who creates collages and exhibits as well as sells .. also in the US.. Brigitte, curator.. I enjoyed her company and interest in my works ;-) -- antique book collector George, who is so successful in his antique book/(history of ) shows in museums .. fashion designer Petra.. I am a fan or her creations and designs-- collectors of antique treasures.. (Trudi comes to mind).. art appreciators.. The wonderful ambiance... with excellent foods.. wine.. plus it was esparagus season.. these long white succulent esparagus.. special extras for me... Petra, my brother's lifepartner,shared her core-surroundings with me .. her mother Trudi arrranged the gatherings and she whisked up these great dinners... felt embraced.. not only physically... so pleased, that my brother drove up the long way from Passau. Uwe successfully designs motorbikes!! He brought me several motorcycle jackets (I like to wear with long skirts) .. plus other .. I really enjoyed my three days in area Offenbach and Frankfurt.. Trebur .. where I met my nephew .. and his family.. the time at the Rhine River... I mention all this.. because I am amazed.. how life brings special people in closer focus... and with them ...... me --to myself.. as special.
