PRINCE OLEN Champion, My Buddy.. died last Sunday after severe attack on Saturday- by loose running Pitbull Terrier - Prince was as always, on leash- taking morning walk with his friend and owner Joy. He was a great dog and pal.. beautiful Greyhound- my painting 'critic'.. brush chewer and sniffer.. eraser chewer.. play ball and catch chew bone speedy retriever- at foot of my bed snorer.. put his beautiful face on my hands and look at me with these clear brown 'knowing' eyes, when my core hurt.. put nose in my face earliest mornings to go do 'duty'.. laugh this silly toothy twisted lips laugh.. snuggle against my legs when I sat and painted.. and so much more.. He tried to stay.. but couldn't..
