... there they were... still.. we looked at them.. and they looked at us.. the mother Opossum.. still seemed very tired.. little ones still alert.. crawling all over her.. or clinging.. I counted.. still five... so.. we continued walking.. after I took several more pictures of them.. ++ More people had come.. Pauline and I felt anxiious for the Opussums safety.. some people get the hibby jibbies.. when they hear the word 'Opossum'.. and here was a whole cute little family.. most possible on relocating route.... while we walked off.. I turned.. just in case.. and looked from afar.. The mother animal.. had changed 'direction'.. turned around.... to where she had come from.. she slipped.. and caught herself.. the little ones hanging on to her.. some over her head.. she gtried to free herself.. some on her tail.. it seemed a struggle on that slim ledge.. for so many.. and she.. was not a small one either...'Hope, none will fall' I said under my breath.. worried.. it might happen.. when speaking out louder.. took another picture from far.. just to make sure.. the count was five.. on return.. not realizing..... at that point of time... numbers had changed.................... already..... Just was relieved, She made it..!!and rested again.. and we continued with the round.. deciding to check on her on our way back... .. CHECK ON THE SMALL PICTURE.. WHERE SHE TURNED.. AND COUNT THE LITTLE ONES.. ON HER BACK ARE ONLY four.. NOT FIVE ANYMORE... ++ size for uploading purpose only.
