.. almost missed it.. blossom pointed downwards- walked by to greet the backyard cats Prissy and Tiger.. when this amazing cacti flower.. giant!!! in size on such in comperance small plant, held my eye.. and caught my breath.. ran for camera.. since experienced, cacti blossoms often only exhibit in their amazing beautyful bloom for a day.. or night.. or moment.. caught this one ;-)) had to get all way down, to hold image with camera.. then I moved it gently just a bit ;-)) to get better sight of this incredible design.. the 'fuzz' around outlines of its outlines.. the hues.. and man, is it heavy.. and 'fat' feeling.. to me.. little bit 'other' scent.. will upload couple more pix. Such a thrill for eyes.. early in morning... the form and design.. hues,, are so very inspiring. The flower is point to point 7.5 inches in diameter.. giant.. (out of ink for epson 1800.. and out of paper.. so.. has to wait for prints. Would reserve, if interested, and do, when finances allow)
