We had one day together-(and evening plus early 4 a. m. breakfast)-- Susie and Petr as well as I ;-) wanted to enjoy-- pack into this day the feel of togetherness in discovering and seeing nature, and what she holds- old cities no matter what size, their historic places,buildings.. charming corners which 'invited' to sit.. have a typical dish, or wine.. what ever 'hit' us.. maybe enjoy humans............. ...'Petr' and 'Susanne' decided not to take the Autobahn, but to cross the Rhein river with the ferry.. Surprised me with it.. Had taken another Ferry up the river several years ago.. The 'Weinstrasse', with all the smaller old cities- beautiful landscape beckoned... Day is still 'grey'.. fresh air.. (appreciated that a lot, coming from LA, with the dome of smog around it on sunny days).. Here I could see through the haze to the other side... I sharpened image a little, so it comes up visible for you on portfolio.. Swans would look beautiful there ... bet, they are roaming these banks... I have seen from train black beautiful swans.. and white beautiful swans at Rhein river bank.. (maybe, today still on the field ;-) )..
