Artist Statement:
As an independent,
self-representing artist, my
goal is to provide quality
artwork that can be afforded
by all. I won't go on about
what schools of art or artists
have inspired me or what my
"expression" is for my work -
I paint what is beautiful to
me, and what others find
beautiful, and offer it to
share. I find much of today's
"art" lacking in both
aestetics and a natural
connection to our world; it
seems to me like paint on a
canvas, and brings no picture
to mind of a flower we have
seen or a person we have met,
no stirring of our memories or
our senses. In our rushed and
busy world, perhaps we have
stopped truly "seeing" all of
creation around us, and if it
is possible, I would like my
work to stand as snapshots of
living moments, recreated with
delicacy and simplicity, for
all who see to understand and
enjoy....
