Berta has created a sea of
color and form through her
work.
"After a life long experience
in art history, philosophy and
music I have been able to
create and express my deepest
thoughts and emotions through
paint". Born in
Manizales(Colombia), Berta has
had a life filled with
artistic influence. Since the
age of 12 she started to play
the piano and became a
renowned pianist in Manizales.
After several years teaching
in different universities Art
History and Esthetics she
decided to put in practice all
her knowledge in canvas. Berta
has been painting for the last
decade mainly in acrylic and
mixed materials. ...
