Artist Statement:
I draw and paint using
traditional mediums:
Graphite, Charcoal,
Pastels and Acrylic, but the
work I create is any thing but
traditional. I want to create
a unique image that moves. I
use repetition of lines and
shapes over an image to
distort, abstract and recreate
it. The result, hopefully, is
that I capture more of the
essence of the movement,
rather than depicting a
specific event or person.
