Artist Statement:
Beyond the mission--the artist's statement:
Many of my works are deeply connected to nature, joy, family, and religion. I thrive on challenges and truly enjoy opportunities to change trash into treasure. I am not afraid to show those ugly in-between steps that are a very real part of every great work of art. I believe that when children see an artist persevere, it makes them more likely to stop throwing away their own art when it gets frustrating and difficult.
