Artist Statement:
My images address the fine
line between perception and
reality. The dreamlike
atmosphere emphasizes the
indeterminate space where
memories conflict with
experience. Moving through
the photographs there is a
transient feeling of actuality
becoming a memory because
often things can exist in a
more intense way inside memory
and longing. This air of
mystery surrounding the images
becomes a void that desire
projects. But in these vacant
photographs there is an
undeniable presence, a look,
that adds to this unrealizable
longing for connection....
