Artist Statement:
Hi again - I think a little
bit of background on me would
be in order since you have
been so kind as to peruse my
site. Allow me to ramble for a
sec.....
I think there are some things
you are given in this life as
a gift. Calling myself an
artist of any form sounds very
pretensious, but I like the
distinction that comes with
that label. There hasn't been
a moment in my entire life
that I haven't done anything
creative in one venue or
another....and I am beyond
grateful every day. Part of
the aforementioned gift is the
ability and desire to show
inner parts of my psyche in a
manner that (hopefully) are
appealing to others and more
importantly myself. So, if you
haven't already discovered
your talents in one form or
another...I highly recommend
it.
Sometimes art was a necessity
for me as a child. We were a
family in NW Georgia
(LaFayette to be exact) with a
modest income and didn't have
a lot for extras - like
coloring books and throw away
crap that kids normally use up
and burn through. In 2nd Grade
when it came time ...
