Artist Statement:
There are elements of expression that I have just begun exploring and the nature of my work is continually changing. I find espression through varied materials including fabric, wax, gut and resins to create pieces derived from and inspired by the "living procession". An idea that represents the natural movement of life by all that surrounds us. Passing from one thought to the next, collectively, as well as personally.
I allow myself to make changes freely while the pieces are in progress. This method is necessary in order to keep in close contact with my original objective. Humans all share experiences of connectivity. This is the reason I'm drawn to the simple connections of the grid, as a form, and use it as a basis for my interpretations.
Our relationship to the world around us changes constantly. My own ideas are expressed through the forms created.
