Artist Statement:
As a portrait artist, I try to
capture the personality of my
subjects. I do not always
know my subjects personally as
most of my commissions are
painted from photographs. I
always try to find the hobbies
or character of the
individual. I study the old
masters and have religious
paintings hanging in several
churches in Missouri and
Connecticut. My wife and I
have traveled extensively
through Europe and the Middle
East and enjoy visiting the
art galleries in different
countries, always looking for
new subjects and techniques to
try....

ribbons in several
competitions.
