EARL KITTLESON: A BIOSUMMARY
Earl Kittleson was born in
Milwaukee. He attended grade
and high schools,served time
in the army and worked at
various jobs. He graduated
from the Layton School of Art
(BFA 1956;), The University of
Wisconsin - Milwaukee (BS
1957, MS 1961) and has
attended courses at The
University of Minnesota, The
School of the Art Institute of
Chicago, and University of
Virginia through the National
Gallery, Washington D.C.
Mr. Kittleson has taught
various aspects of art
professionally since 1957. He
has served on the faculties of
The Summer School of Painting,
Saugatuck Michigan; Menomonee
Falls High School, Menomonee
Falls, Wisconsin until
retirement in 1992; and as
adjunct at the University of
Wisconsin- Milwaukee, The
Milwaukee Area Technical
College, Carroll College,
Waukesha, Mount Marry College,
Milwaukee, and the Peninsula
Art School, Fish Creek, WI.
He is a frequent critique
master in the Milwaukee area,
lending an encouraging eye to
aspiring as well as seasoned
artists.
His etchings and paintings
have been exhibited widely
since 1961. He has been
featured In 28 one person
shows and in numerous group
shows. His prize winning work
is represented in the
corporate collections of The
Milwaukee Journal- Sentinel
Company, Miller...
