Artist Statement:
I view painting as a way to
express feelings, emotions and
thoughts in a way in which
verbal language cannot. I seek
harmony exploring imaginary
forms, striving to recompose
the world on canvas with the
pieces of a puzzle, taken from
a reality which often seems to
be twisted.
My subjects are mostly
inspired by the fascination
toward the biblical concept of
creation through Word. The
Word is identified with the
Creator, having the power to
generate matter and spirit
through His own will. Will
means energy, energy means
movement - which creates
vectors, which are able to
create forms. It is a way to
express gratitude to the
Creator and creation.
I use the rhythms,
intersections and repetitions
of shapes, mostly with mineral
and vegetal reverberations.
The result is meant to invite
the viewer to celebrate the
creation and praise the
Creator....
