Artist Statement:
Born in Cuba and raised in New Jersey, my background is a smorgasbord of cultural diversity that I apply to my compositions.
Schooled in Visual communications, marketing, conceptual and digital design, I am able to create unique and personal designs for my customers. Much of my art has been applied to t-shirts, personalized note cards, wall decorations, and portraits for various individuals and companies through private commissions.
My goal is to touch the hearts and inspire the imagination of all those who view my art, especially children and young teens. What a shame it is to go through life without having tapped into the creative spark we all have!
The subjects of my art, are people. I love the different looks we all have. Instead of trying to mealt us into some kind of 'collective' where one is indistinguishable from the other, I would prefer that we learn to accept and cherrish those aspects of each other that make us different and essentially make us who we are.
