Artist Statement:
In my work I strive to create
images of mystery, energy and
surreal beauty.
My paintings and sculptures
surge from a spiritual need to
create visual histories where
fantasy and reality combine.
The pursuance of my work is to
capture the essence of
humanity, to elucidate
sentiments, beliefs and
passions that identify us as
human beings well beyond our
nationality, ethnic origin or
religion.
At a time when art seems to
relate itself with the
superficial and
sensationalist, I try to
create works whose process and
theme demonstrate my
commitment, patience,
dedication and faith in my
chosen profession....
