Artist Statement:
Welcome! Bienvenue a tous,
Born in Quebec into a family
of self-taught artisans and
artists, I could not help but
be attracted to the arts. I
found my heart when I
fully accepted and became an
artist/painter, because this
is what I
was and am all along! Without
it, I would be searching for a
part of my soul.
Self-taught, my art is varied,
diverse and versatile; a
realistic painter of animals,
flowers, portraits and
landscapes; all living things
are welcome. But recently I
found abstract paintings to be
extremely moving, freeing, and
emotionally expressive to me.
My inspiration is what I see;
colors, shapes, a good face,
animals, etc. I work on many
paintings concurrently and my
favorite medium is oil; but
have used acrylic and pencil.
