Artist Statement:
To be honest, I don't consider
these "portraits"... but
rather, impressionistic
paintings where the subject
happens to be pets. Dogs,
cats, and other animals can be
so expressive & have so much
personality. My goal is to
capture a scene from their
life ~ and reflect how they
touch our lives.
Altough I've chosen to focus
on pets as a subject matter
right now, I am also working
on a series of sports
paintings and have been known
to paint children, horses,
muraling, etc.
