Browse Reese's body of work: A new media artist, Reese is the inventor of Scanography a patent-pending, cutting edge process that links painting/drawing and photography. In the spirit of Man Ray, Maholy-Nagy and Salvador Dali, utilizing a digital flatbed scanner, she performs movements and gestures in the scanner's moving light to capture "live" an intuitive interweave of physical and emotional rhythms, complex subjective/subconscious narratives, and culturally charged found objects and materials.
