Artist Statement:
"Painting for me is much about
a sense of rythm. I'm working
in oil pastel, acrylic and
mixed media as well as digital
collage and photography. I'm
searching for the canvas
equivalent of the emotional
impact of repetition and rythm
of form in landscape or within
the form of
nonrepresentational imagery. I
find this equivalent in the
hidden design within the fast
and natural movement of color
and texture in media and all
around us, in images that are
simple and at times congested.
