My recent series of paintings
are contemporary landscapes in
oil and watercolor depicting
quiet and familiar scenes of
the mountainous West. These
pieces emerge from an
intensely personal
relationship with place and
atmosphere. I prefer style
over detail, interpreting
subtleties of color and planes
of space in a way that
visually articulates my
emotional connection to the
environment....
