Artist Statement:
I am concentrated in a work
mixing the imaginery of the
fashion world
through people that are not
related to the fashion world:
the girl next door,my
daughter,my son ,friends
,neighbors...
Preparing the image like for
a fashion shoot :
Clothing,background,make up,
but with the clothing that I
like,that I can find anywhere
in my own closet or in a
cheap store or in a press
service room with no limits of
what is in fashion.
A try to create beauty with
anyone and everything.
Then I take some pictures.I
edit the image like for a big
campaign or a famous magazine
and I paint with oil on big
canvas the image that I have
chosen.
And the goal perhaps is to
glorify the moment so quick of
the photography by a
process so slow (the oil
painting) that I can take the
time to feel again with
sensuality ,the beauty of the
skin tones,of the color of the
eyes,of the texture of the
hair,of the kindness of the
movement or its agressivity.
the luxury of a fabric or of a
an old shoe,,
A try to give legitimity to
the human...
