Artist Statement:
I believe that before anything art should bring happiness to the viewer . Life has alot of misery in it , so it is the artist duty to make people happy .
Secondly , I believe that an artist must have his own unique style which I feel should differentiate him totally from another artist .
In my view , I would even say a particular style is more important than what and how an artist paints . His style has to be so strong that the viewer should immedietly recognize the artist ....

Adib Fattal was born in 1962 in Washington D.C. As the son of a diplomat, Adib spent most of his life in Europe, the United States and the Middle East. He graduated with a B.B.A. in International Marketing from the City University of New York. Having spent some years in the field of business and banking, Adib decided to abandon it and dedicate himself to his original
love: graphic art.
At present, he lives on a farm in Syria at the foot of Mount Hermon where he paints, farms and looks after his dogs, cat, and a large collection of birds including a clever parrot.
He is married to Ghadir Khattab, a Palestinian from Gaza.

Adib's works are being presented by the Filu Forum of Germany in its archive and CD forms, available at the annual Frankfort Book Fair.
Some of Adibs paintings are available in postcards sold by Tarik Bin Zeyad(TBZ)company in Syria, as well as other postcards printed and sold by the Gutsch Verlog company in Berlin, Germany.
