Artist Statement:
Afanassy Pud (Fainzilber Eugeny) was born in Leningrad in 1951, and lives there now. He has completed Leningrad Polytechnic Institute. Has a scientific degree of doctor of sciense. Since 1983 is the copartner of Partnership of Experimental Fine Art in Leningrad, participat in all exhibitions of Partnership.Pictures of Afanassy Pud frequently were deleted from exhibitions by representatives of authorities and KGB.
The participant more than 20 exhibitions in St.Petersburg and other cities. Relevant

1988 - exhibition "Handwriting", Palace of Youth, Leningrad
1991 - exhibition of the Leningrad Jewish artists, Riga

1997 - exhibition of the Petersburg artists, Bad Homburg, Germany
1998 - personal exhibition in the Jewish cultural center, Berlin
1999 - "Petersburg 1999", central exhibition hall, St.Petersburg
The painting are contained in private collections of Russia, USA, Germany, Austria,
France, Italy, Canada, Holland and also in Museum of Art of Nonconformism in
St.Petersburg.
