Dont get me wrong I love
contemporary art it just that
when ever I start something a
time warp draws me back.
I was 60 this year so I don't
suppose I will ever change.
I specialise in paint on
canvas with portaits and
figurative studies.
After spending many years in
broadcasting I returned to
painting only a couple of
years ago.
Currently working on 'WOMAN
30' project of 30 paintings
and drawings that reflect
women at their most mysterious
age. When people talk of
seeing ghosts and spirits,
their are nearly always
haggard and old or around 30,
so taking just three colours..
White, Red and Black and three
styles of painting or drawing,
Semi Abstract/Neo
Expressionist. Impressionist
and a sketchy bold primitive
approach. Woman 30 will
reflect the golden and
reflective age of the feminist
soul.
Best days for me were probably
during the early 1970's in
Denmark, I had had a few minor
exhibitions and people ...
