Why I work with wood
I work with wood because its organic natural beauty is complex, as is our relationship to it. Wood is very much a part of our lives, everyday we use and come into contact with items made of it. Trees are pleasing to our eye. They provide a sense of security and shelter to our existence. It is this reason for which wood is part of our nature. After harvesting the tree, its spirit lives-on.
