Artist Statement:
Alessandro Taglioni began his career using traditional media in the 1970’s, and in 1986 began exploring new avenues of visual communication through computer technology.
He is pioneering research in painting through electronic technology and, at the same time, continues to work in watercolour on large canvases using old techniques.
It is an extremely important event, not only due to the extensive reviews, but above all because it breaks away from the dominant iconoclasm, drawing instead from historical memory and restoring the text of painting....
