Artist Statement:
Each piece is a self-portrait
focused on an aspect of a
particular instance in my life
or re-occurring moments. In a
warped and abstracted way the
sock monkey has become a kind
identification of my work and
myself, much in the same way
every fingerprint is unique.
My work is personal however
open for individual
interpretation and I encourage
everyone to make and attach
their own memories, stories
and feelings to the work.
